"POLO FIELDS ARE A RECTANGLE" AND HOSE REEL IRRIGATORS PRODUCE RECTANGULAR IRRIGATED PATTERNS EACH PASS. CONSEQUENTLY, THERE IS NO BETTER CHOICE FOR SPRINKLER IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT ON A POLO FIELD. IF THE WATER SUPPLY IS ADEQUATE AND WATER PRESSURE IS ADEQUATE, A REEL SPRINKLER OF SUFFICIENT SIZE CAN BE SELECTED TO COMPLETE A POLO FIELD IN A COUPLE OF SIDE X SIDE PASSES. IF THE WATER SUPPLY IS SMALLER, SMALLER REELS CAN STILL COMPLETE THE FIELD WITH 4 TO 6 PASSES USING VERY LITTLE LABOR AND LEAVING THE FIELD CLEAR OF HARDWARE AFTER THE IRRIGATION.
